This site distinguishes three legal lanes and you should not conflate them: (a) an FDA-approved drug; (b) a preparation compounded by a 503A pharmacy from a substance on the final 503A bulks list; and (c) a research-use-only ("not for human use") substance. Inclusion of any substance in our tracker or references is not a representation that it is legal to obtain, compound, possess, or administer in your jurisdiction or circumstances. "Category 1," or removal from "Category 2," does not mean a substance is FDA-approved or currently authorized for compounding.

4. Supplier listings & the vetting standard

Our Supplier-Vetting Standard is an educational framework. A supplier meeting some or all of the published criteria, or appearing on any "vetted suppliers" list, is not an endorsement, guarantee, warranty, or assurance of that supplier's legal compliance, product quality, safety, or fitness for any purpose, and is not a recommendation to purchase or use any product. HPD does not sell products through this site and is not a party to any transaction you may enter into with any supplier. We may have commercial relationships with one or more listed suppliers; where we do, we disclose it. You are solely responsible for your own due diligence and for any purchase, importation, compounding, or administration decision.
